Meet Marie our Director
Juvenate’s founder, Marie August, lives in Wellington. She has a passion for natural and innovative ingredients, business enterprise, and the beauty industry. The Juvenate story began after the birth of Marie’s second child, when, thanks to the challenges of motherhood (read: no sleep!), Marie noticed her skin had become inflamed, irritated,
and ageing at an alarming rate. Despite trying nearly every clinic-only skincare range she could find, Marie’s attempts to slow the clock and lessen the tell-tale signs of parenthood were futile - nothing seemed to work, and none of the products delivered on their promises.
Thousands of dollars later, Marie was still unhappy with her skin’s appearance, and frustrated by ineffective products - but she was also now aware of a large gap in the skincare industry. This sparked a flame in Marie, and set her on a five-year mission of sourcing outstanding new generation actives with extensive research and development, working alongside chemists, doctors, lab specialists, skin experts and beauty therapists from around the world to create a New Zealand-made, results-driven anti-aging skincare range.
Meet Roxanne our Business Development Manager
A passionate skincare enthusiast and qualified therapist based in Christchurch. Roxanne’s journey into skincare began 15 years ago when she studied in South Africa completing her CIDESCO, ITEC and EDECXEL. This sparked a deep love for the industry and a desire to change people's lives through skincare. With a background in education, Roxanne believes that understanding the functions of the skin is key to the success in treating various skin conditions. She’s dedicated to continuous learning and growth in personal development and new treatment modalities.
Living in Christchurch, Roxanne enjoys the cold weather! And spending quality time with her two kids, husband, and furry babies.
Meet Fallon our Business Development Manager
Fallon has been in the skincare and beauty industry for the last 6 years – most of them as a Senior Therapist in Dunedin’s largest skincare clinic. With experience in working with Juvenate on problem skins and getting amazing results - Fallon understands the power of Juvenate first hand. She also has extensive knowledge in working with other brands, which bring upon a strength to not only know Juvenate but also what it’s like working with a selection of brands in clinic.
Originally from Cambridge, she recently returned to her hometown after spending most of her life in Dunedin. You can often find her by the lake or beachside!
Meet Tamsyn our Creative Marketing Manager
Juvenate’s Marketing Designer, Tamsyn has been a Designer and Photographer within the skincare industry for the last 14 years, having worked for some of New Zealand’s most loved brands. She couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Juvenate family and continue to work within such a beautiful industry.
Living in Napier with her husband and two sons, Tamsyn is a magpie for colour and beauty, and when she’s not enjoying the sunshine with her family you can find her creating functional pottery, or painting.
Meet Tiff our Administrator
Tiff escaped the rat race of the big smoke and moved to the beautiful town of Whitianga in the Coromandel in 2020.
With a broad background in HR, Client services and Administration, Tiff thrives on delivering the best results to customers by going the extra mile and ensuring a win/win wherever possible.
Juvenate has given Tiff the opportunity to branch into a new industry which she is thoroughly enjoying along with expanding her knowledge of all the fantastic products Juvenate has to offer.
